Free training with SAP in Information Technology
We believe service members and military veterans possess valuable skills such as teamwork and leadership, and SAP is committed to hiring these respected individuals and helping them transition to civilian employment. SAP provides training and certification in SAP technologies, internships, and early talent programs, as well as assistance with job placement.
Assistance for California veterans
Swords to Plowshares is a community-based not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides needs assessment and case management, employment and training, housing, and legal assistance to approximately 3,000 veterans in the San Francisco Bay Area each year.
VA Dental Program
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has selected Delta Dental of California and MetLife to once again offer private insurance coverage for the VA Dental Insurance Program (VADIP). The Department of Veterans Affairs Dental Insurance Reauthorization Act of 2016 extends VADIP until December 31, 2021. Veterans who are enrolled in the VA health care system and beneficiaries and their dependents of the Civilian Health and Medical Program of the VA (CHAMPVA) can enroll in the program.

Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment
You may receive Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) services to help with job training, employment accommodations, resume development, and job seeking skills coaching. Other services may be provided to assist Veterans in starting their own businesses or independent living services for those who are severely disabled and unable to work in traditional employment.
